5 Star Barefoot Safari Tent Camp | South Africa

This project explores a contemporary interpretation of safari living, where architecture and landscape exist in quiet dialogue. The design is grounded in a restrained material palette, natural timber, textured fabrics, and soft mineral finishes, chosen to echo the surrounding environment without imitation.

Spatially, the interiors are composed to feel open yet intimate, with a strong emphasis on proportion, flow, and framed views of the landscape beyond. Large apertures dissolve the boundary between inside and out, allowing light, air, and movement to become part of the experience.

Furnishings are deliberately understated, balancing clean, modern silhouettes with tactile softness to create a sense of calm and comfort. The result is a space that feels both refined and deeply connected to its context an elevated retreat rooted in stillness, materiality, and the rhythms of nature.
